Areas of Practice

GRA's airline practice melds senior airline management expertise with state-of-the-art analytical expertise to effect profitable change. Each assignment features the use of Proprietary GRA Software. Assignments include: merger/alliance evaluations; credit and business plan assessments, network strategy; fleet planning and operations, and legal support services.

Airports

GRA provides strategic services to airports to support air service development, new investment decisions, master planning, rates and charges, feasibility studies and documentation of economic impacts; assignments are supported with Proprietary GRA Software.

Government

GRA provides strategic support to all major U.S. federal agencies involved in aviation oversight: USDOT, FAA, Department of Justice, Department of Commerce, NASA and the newly formed Air Transportation Stabilization Board (ATSB) and Transportation Security Administration (TSA). GRA provides ATC business planning services to FAA, including pricing of ATC services, aviation system plans and an on-going Balanced Scorecard quality monitoring program.

Surface Transportation

GRA provides strategic services to the rail, trucking and shipping industries including merger and investment analysis, assessments of new technologies and legal support services.

Expert Testimony

GRA is often called upon to provide testimony in arbitration, litigation, regulatory and other matters. GRA’s senior economists and academic associates have provided precedent-setting testimony through the application of the most up-to-date economic concepts. GRA staff also have testified before Congress and other bodies.
